Over the winter you probably didn’t use your air conditioning as much. But your air conditioning is a lot like your kitchen fridge, the refrigeration fluid doesn’t circulate when it’s switched off. This fluid has oil in it, and when it’s not circulating there’s no lubrication. Seals can then dry out, shrink and let the gas slowly leak away. That means less cold air. And cold air is something we all appreciate inside our car when it’s warm outside.
